Sometimes shitty is good. Inspired by the bad trade school advertising seen on late night television, this short film campaign for Master Cabbie Taxi Academy helps explain where cabbies learn their "skills". Utilizing an anachronistic 4:3 aspect ratio, and all the other conventions of the genre, Master Cabbie was a viral hit, scoring millions of views, and earning it prestigious accolades at the Cannes Lions Festival. The films soon took on a life of their own, eventually being optioned for development as a full-fledged television series.
